Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 January 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister Muzaffar Madrakhimov held separate meetings with the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania Daniel Cristian Ciobanu and the Swiss Confederation Konstantin Obolensky.
During the conversations, the sides considered proposals aimed at intensifying Uzbekistan-Romania and Uzbekistan-Switzerland contacts at various levels and directions, as well as enrichment of bilateral relations.
Mutual interest was expressed in organizing on a regular basis political consultations between foreign ministries, which make it possible to identify promising areas for cooperation.
The parties advocated for the enhancement of interparliamentary dialogue, establishing of partnerships between scientific and educational institutions, and implementing promising projects in various fields.
The sides also exchanged views on the schedule and agenda of joint events for the current year.
