The meeting, chaired by the Managing Director for Russia, Eastern Neighbourhood and the Western Balkans in the EU's External Action Service Miroslav Lajčák, was attended by the delegation of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.

During the session, the participants discussed inter-regional cooperation within the implementation of the EU Strategy and its further perspectives, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The sides exchanged opinion on actual international and regional issues in context of ensuring regional security and fighting terrorism.
