The report said that specialists from Uzbekistan are studying German experience in use of renewable energy sources – water, wind and solar.

The delegation said that the main aim of the visit to Germany is t study practical skills and knowledge from German specialists.

Mr. Matchanov, physicist from Uzbekistan, said that Freiburg is bright example in this direction. He said that t is interesting for Uzbekistan to find out work on use of alternative energy in the city. He added that this will allow to eliminate mistakes in this area in Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek delegation held meeting at the information center Solar Info Center (SIC), and received information on alternative energy.

Mr. Muhiddinov, expert of Uzbekenergo state joint stock company, said that Uzbekistan has experience in area and the country implements several projects on solar energy in regions. He said that the sides can expand use of solar energy in cooperation.

Employee of OSCE Coordinator Office in Uzbekistan Mr. Husanov, part of the Uzbek delegation, said that the renewable energy can serve for development of Uzbekistan it is vital for energy security of the Central Asian region.

Badische Zeitung reported that the Uzbek delegation received great experience and stimulus for use of renewable energy in the country.
