Orient Voyages, Sairam Tourism, Sogda Tour, Megatour and Dolores Tour, as well as Uzbektourism, national tourism administration, and Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways), national airline of Uzbekistan, represented at the exhibition.

The Uzbek companies proposed foreign colleagues new and existing routes on historic cities of Uzbekistan, the report. The agency said currently France occupies the first place among number of visited tourists in Uzbekistan.

Vincent Lhoste, Exhibition Manager, welcomed the delegation of Uzbekistan and underlined that the French side in new destinations for outbound tourism. He said Uzbekistan occupies special place with its unique historical-architectural monument.

He said it will be useful to organize seminar with participation of tour operators of two states to promote tours to Uzbekistan and diversify tourism routes. He said Uzbektourism and Uzbekistan Havo Yollari held talks with TOP RESA to organize single national stand of Uzbekistan in 2010.

Thomas Cook-Jet Tours representative Heleb Puvesal said the company included Uzbekistan to its tourism routes in 2009 and it was successful.
