Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Citizens of Uzbekistan will be able to remotely open an account in Russian banks.

The corresponding decision was made by the Russian Government.

In accordance with the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, banks received the right to carry out personal identification in local financial institutions.

“Approve the list of foreign states (territories) in which foreign banks and other foreign financial organizations are registered, to which credit institutions, professional participants in the securities market, operators of investment platforms, management companies of investment funds, mutual funds and non-state pension funds have the right to entrust identification client - a foreign citizen or foreign legal entity, a representative of such a client,” the document says.
