Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Rescuers in Kazakhstan came to the aid of Uzbek citizens who found themselves in a difficult situation after their bus broke down in freezing weather, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan said.

Early in the morning, authorities received a report about a bus malfunction stranded several kilometers from the Shet District in Karaganda Region.

Upon arrival, rescuers discovered 40 passengers on board, including citizens of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

All passengers were evacuated and transported to the nearest village of Aksu-Ayuly. Fortunately, no one aboard the bus was injured.
