Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Citizen of Uzbekistan Shahnoza Rakhmatova has been detained in Istanbul and deported to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Uzbek General Consulate in Istanbul.

43-year-old Shahnoza Rakhmatova had been wanted since 2021 on charges of fraud. Recently, Turkish law enforcement authorities managed to apprehend her.

Victims of Rakhmatova’s actions can contact the Uzbek General Consulate in Istanbul or the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
