Representatives of ministries and departments, companies and concerns of two states, operating in such areas as trade, industry, investment, economy, logistics, export-imaport, automobile, agriculture, mining and service sectors, participated at the event.

Economic reforms in Uzbekistan were discussed at the forum. The participants discussed implementation of joint projects in Navoi industrial-economic zone and organization of Industrial Park of High Technology of Jizzakh region.

The sides exchanged opinion on further developing cooperation and implementation of joint projects in various areas of economy.

At the end of the business forum, Tashkent city territorial department of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Sichuan Committee of Chinese committee of assisting international trade and Tashkent region territorial department of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Xinjiang of Chinese committee of assisting international trade signed the cooperation agreements.

On the same day, the cooperation exchange with participation of business circles of Uzbekistan and China was held.

Uzbekistan and China have set regime of favourable trade. Mutual trade turnover in 2011 made up US$2.596 billion.

Currently there are 382 enterprises with Chinese investment operate in Uzbekistan, of which 58 are with 100% Chinese capital. They operate in such areas as production of construction materials, light industry goods, processing agriculture good, etc.
