Representatives of aviation administrations of Uzbekistan and China signed a memorandum of understanding, Uzbekistan Airways said.
The memorandum envisages that China Southern Airlines will start to use third frequency of Urumqi-Tashkent-Urumqi route within existing five weekly flights. In its turn, Uzbekistan Airways will use one frequency on Ferghana-Urumqi-Ferghana route temporarily in addition to existing five frequencies.
The Chinese side will also have right to use an additional frequency, the Uzbek company said on its website.
The sides also considered issues on use of infrastructure of airports of each other for passenger and cargo flights, as well as preferential tariffs for land services.
The sides discussed opportunity of cooperation in construction of airports and management of air traffic.
