Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In November, the Banking Supervision Committee of the Central Bank held seven meetings, considering 26 issues. This was reported by the regulator’s press service.
The main part of the questions concerned permitting issues, including amendments to bank charters and certification of auditors.
In addition, the regulator limited operations for one bank due to non-compliance with instructions and untimely implementation of macroprudential tasks.
Another 4 banks and 2 microfinance organizations received warnings for non-compliance with regulatory documents and delays in providing data for monitoring.
Penalties were imposed on four banks that violated prudential standards. Also, one payment organization was fined for violations.
