Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Athletes from Uzbekistan won 7 medals at the World Weightlifting Championships in Saudi Arabia.

In total, weightlifters won 4 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals, the NOC reports.

With this result, the men’s team of Uzbekistan took second place in the number of awards won after China and fifth place in the points classification after Armenia, China, Iran, and Colombia.
