Uzbekistan won two gold, seven silver and ten bronze medals of the Student Games, which ended on 17 July 2013.

Over 10,000 athletes from 162 countries competed for 351 medals on 27 sports at the Universiade, UzA reported.

Uzbekistan was represented by 55 athletes in such sports as boxing, belt wrestling, rhythmic gymnastics, canoe and rowing, judo, sambo, etc.

Next World Summer Universiade will be held in Gwangju of South Korea in 2015.
