Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- UzAuto Motors announced a price adjustment for four budget Chevrolet models.

The new prices are as follows:
- Chevrolet Cobalt GS-Style Plus MT - 133,598,000 soums (previous price - 124,264,000 soums);
- Chevrolet Cobalt GX-Style Plus AT - 156,589,000 soums (previous price - 146,757,000 soums);
- Damas D2 DLX Style Plus - 100,325,000 soums (previous price - 96,932,000 soums).

UzAuto Motors noted that the increase in production made it possible to increase the availability of cars for end consumers, bypassing intermediaries. As a result, there is a decrease in prices for cars in the secondary market, caused by increased demand.

The company said that additional volume of vehicles will be available for contracting in the second half of 2024, which could lead to an increase in the cost of Damas, Labo and Cobalt vehicles by 3.5-6.7%.

UzAuto Motors also plans to introduce a car sales system that meets international standards. Dealers will be given the opportunity to buy back vehicles at MSRP, stimulating competition and improving service quality.

Dealerships are able to offer additional options and accessories, improving the quality of service and providing innovative services.

UzAuto Motors’ transition to a new system of interaction with dealers represents a step towards more efficient and innovative sales methods. The online contracting and buyback system will provide a more flexible and attractive model for consumers, dealers and the company itself, encouraging transparency and growth in the automotive industry.

In October last year the company already increased prices for its models by an average of 5.1%, and in December there was another increase.
