The purpose of the visit was to study the current stage of development of agricultural insurance system in the country.

The sides also discussed prospects of cooperation with the World Bank Group in the development of commercial agricultural insurance system.

During the meeting, representatives of IFC provided detailed information about IFC project on development of agro-financing in Europe and Central Asia. In particular, Andrei Zaripov told about the experience of the organization in the development of agricultural insurance in Ukraine.

In turn, representatives of Uzagrosugurta made a presentation in which they told about the company, its activities, key performance indicators, and the company’s position in the insurance market. They also provided detailed information about the activities of Uzagrosugurta in the field of agricultural insurance.
