Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzagrosugurta Joint Stock Company collected insurance premiums worth 393.1 billion soums in 2023, which is 1.2 times more than a year earlier. The company’s press service announced the fugures.

Of these, 71.5 billion soums are premiums for compulsory insurance, and 321.6 billion soums are for voluntary types of insurance.

Over the past year, 715.3 thousand contracts were concluded. The bulk of them fell on health and property insurance of the population - 650.3 thousand contracts.

The volume of liabilities under insurance contracts in 2023 amounted to 180.42 trillion soums, which is 51.5% more than in 2022

More than 50.6 billion soums were paid out last year for Uzagrosugurt’s insurance obligations. The growth was 16.6%.

Of these, 20.43 billion soums accounted for compulsory insurance and 30 billion soums for voluntary insurance.
