Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22-23 January, regional competitions of the international RoboFest 2020 competition were held in Nizhny Novgorod, in which teams from more than 70 countries took part.

The Uzbek team Uz_robo_Up participated in the engineering project in the junior senior group and took third place, thanks to which it reached the final of RoboFest 2020. Uzbekistan’s robotics team includes: Sukhrob Khaidarov, Rashid Rashidov, Bektimir Miruktamov, Jafar Arifjanov. The team’s coach was Ozodbek Khodjaev.

Uz_robo_Up presented the project of the agro-industrial complex. The project offers automatic grooming of many farm animals at the same time, such as cows, sheep and rams, chicken, rabbits and horses. The functions of this project are fully automated and include: feeding, milking system, manure cleaning in 2 fractions, manure-fertilizer system.

Sukhrob Khaidarov is a 15-year-old IT-Center mentor in the city of Navoi in the field of robotics, who became known for creating such IT products as Smart Cell and Robot Max.

“ROBOFEST” is the largest in Europe and one of the largest festivals in the world, annually gathering the best participants in scientific and technical creativity aged 6 to 30 years who present their unique developments. This is a platform not only for competitions in robotics, but also for educational, gaming and entertainment programs: presentations, master classes, interactive lectures. As part of the traditional festival, a business program is organized, contests for partners and resource centers of the program, tours for schoolchildren are held.
