He said that the US government invested about US$900,000 in upgrading the Uzbek Health Ministry’s central forensics laboratory.

It also organizes training by inviting experts and provides necessary support to Uzbek specialists in their participation in professional conferences.

"An advanced judicial system contributes to administering fair justice. The US embassy is proud of our long-term cooperation with Uzbekistan in the sphere of further forensic science improvement," the envoy said.
