“We pay tribute to all the people of Uzbekistan who fought bravely and served selflessly in the Second World War and to those who harbored the civilians evacuated to safety in Uzbekistan”, the greeting reads.

“We respect the memories of the victims of fighting, and of all individuals whom Uzbek citizens hold dear. May you and your family be blessed with peace, health and happiness,” the message concluded.
