The US embassy said that the event will be held on the ground of the old Chancery in Chilanzar on 30 September at 19:00. This year’s concert marks the sixth time the Embassy is organizing a music event as part of the international network of concerts, sponsored by the Daniel Pearl Foundation, which aims to use the power of music to reaffirm a commitment to tolerance and humanity.

The annual event, which embodies the theme "Harmony for Humanity," was created in response to Pearl’s 2002 kidnapping and brutal murder at the hands of terrorists in Karachi, Pakistan. Since 2002, Daniel Pearl World Music Days has featured more than 13,900 performances in 140 countries.

Formed in 2015 in Tashkent, Tash ‘N’ Roll is a uniquely American enterprise, composed of Tashkent International School, Tashkent International Clinic and US Embassy employees. The rock cover band plays popular favorites from the sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties, and today.
