Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 September, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting between the Minister of Internal Affairs Pulat Bobojonov and the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan Jonathan Hanick.

During the dialogue, issues related to strengthening the legal basis for cooperation between the internal affairs agencies of Uzbekistan and US law enforcement agencies, prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the fight against crime, ensuring public order and security, exchange of experience and advanced training were discussed.

In turn, the ambassador, on behalf of the US diplomatic mission, expressed his readiness to contribute to the further development and expansion of mutual cooperation in this area.

Following the meeting, which took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, current tasks were identified to strengthen relations between law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
