The visit was organized on the eve of the International Uzbek tourism fair "The World of Leisure 2014" (IUTF), which starts in Tashkent on 16 April 2014.

The students presented a special programme, within which they presented countries such as Germany, Spain, Turkey, South Korea, Azerbaijan and others.

Students prepared traditional cuisines of these countries and the UNWTO experts and the guests were offered to taste these meals. Jose Ignacio tasted the meals and highly rated work of young cooks.

He said that it was surprise for him. He said it is difficult to feel gastronomic peculiarities of each state. It is important that students could feel each country.

Expert on gastronomy tourism of the UNWTO Jose Ignacio arrived into Uzbekistan for the first time and he started his visit with tour to Samarkand. He said that he was impressed with Samarkand and added that this is huge museum. Today, the students prepared Tashkent pilaf and he was surprised that pilaf of each region has its own zest.

The students of Tashkent Professional Tourism College also presented dances of the countries, which they are studying now.
