The document is aimed at improving training of highly skilled specialists in information-communication technologies at the level of international standards, and expanding cooperation with leading foreign higher educational establishments.

The main directions of activities of the University of Inga in Tashkent are:

- training highly skilled specialists in information-communication technologies in level of international standards, first of all specialists in software development, management of information systems and computer networks;

- introduction of advance foreign experience on organization of educational process into higher education system in Uzbekistan, create healthy competition conditions and open information-education environment;

- assist to form in Uzbekistan of the system on uninterrupted education and improving skills of ICT specialists, establish close cooperation in this area with scientific-research and educational institutions, software producers, representatives of other industries and software consumers.

- create conditions for organization of educational programmes in line with international standards, envisaging training of highly skilled ICT specialists based on demands of real sector of economy.

The document said that University of Inha (South Korea) will be responsible of educational methodical management and conducting educational process with use of advanced pedagogical and information technologies.

The resolution said that the teaching at the university will be conducted in English language based on educational curriculum and standards of University of Inha, including requirements of state educational standards of Uzbekistan.

Graduates of University will receive diplomas of the sample, approved by University of Inha and acknowledged in Uzbekistan as document on higher education.

The enrollment process to the University will be carried out in line with the order, set at University of Inha (South Korea) after agreeing it with Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan.

The resolution approved Trustee Council and Inter-departmental commission on creation of University of Inha in Tashkent.

The university will train specialists in such areas as computer engineering, software engineering and computer network engineering.

University of Inha in Tashkent will receive its first students in 2014-2015 academic year, which will start on 1 October 2014.

University of Inha (South Korea) was founded in 1954 and currently over 20,000 students study at the university in various directions, including ICT sphere. It is one of the five best universities of South Korea on direction of engineering and information technologies in line with the ranking of Joong Ang Ilbo.
