The bank added that new mini-bank Markaz officially started its work on 17 June 2011.

The mini-bank will serve existing and new clients of Universalbank, registered in neighbouring districts of Tashkent city. It will provide wide-range of banking services to corporate and retail clients.

The mini-bank will offer such services as payment of communal services, serving legal entities and individuals, transactions with deposits and banking payment cards, as well as money transfer services – Bystraya Pochta, Migom, Western Union, Lider, etc.

The bank recalled that it adopted new strategy, which includes full-scale development of retail business due to increasing and expanding sales points.

Currently, Universalbank has one branch in Tashkent city and 8 mini-banks in Qoqand, Ferghana and Tashkent cities.

Universalbank private open joint stock commercial bank was founded on 25 May 2002 with charter capital of 0.05 billion soums on the base of Qoqand private open joint stock commercial bank.

The headquarters of the bank is located in Qoqand city, Ferghana region of Uzbekistan. The main clients of the bank are small and private businesses, as well as retail clients.
