Turon Bank now has offices in 13 regioons of Uzbekistan and actively works in such large settlements of Uzbekistan as Tashkent and Samarkand, Ferghana and Andijan.
Suren Ayriyan, UNIStream director-general, said: “In 2009, we intend to continue realization of programme directed to development of powerful service points’ network in the CIS. At the same time, the market moved to the phase, in which people expect from us the highest quality of services and one of the parameter of high quality is convenience of geographic network development and presence in each separate city.”
He said currently the system achieved coverage parameter, when clients can say with confidence that UNIStream point is always near. In conjunction with affordable tariffs, it gives the system competitive advantage, he added.
Ayriyan noted that the number of service points in Uzbekistan exceeded 800, which operate in over 200 cities and settlements.
He said the number of points in Tashkent is over 220, in Samarkand – over 50 and in Andijan – over 30. He added that Uzbekistan is good example for how the system realized convenience in the practice.
UNIStream underlined that over US$583 million were transferred in Uzbekistan in 2009 and number of clients exceeded 920,000.
