Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A unified national tourism platform is being developed in Uzbekistan, aimed at simplifying travel within the country for both tourists and local residents. This initiative was announced in a decree from the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the document, the platform will begin operating on an experimental basis starting from 1 September 2025. It will provide real-time statistical information about the tourism sector, with data available in 14 languages.

The new system will allow users to book and review accommodations, as well as purchase tickets for buses, airplanes, trains, and visits to cultural heritage sites, museums, and other attractions. The platform will also offer services such as booking taxis, renting vehicles, and using services from tour operators, travel agents, guides, and interpreters.

Additionally, the platform will support payments for tourism services via both international and national payment systems.

Earlier, in June 2024, it was announced that a unified ticket purchasing system for trains and planes would be launched by 1 December. At that time, it was expected that tickets would be available for booking at differentiated prices at least six months in advance of the intended travel dates.
