Unidentified persons switch off power supply of Beeline base station
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 May 2018, unidentified third parties disconnected the power supply of the base station of Beeline, located on the building of shopping center “Flashka” in Tashkent, the press service of the company said in a statement.

The company added that employees of Unitel cannot access the station. The station has several radio relay flights and this deteriorated quality of voice services and Internet in several streets.

Beeline said situation is not under its control, but it is making every effort to restore the service.

Unitel sent letters to the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Tashkent City Administration, as well as the State Inspectorate for Supervision in the Sphere of Communications, Informatization and Telecommunications Technologies with a request to assist in settlement of the situation in order to normalize communication services, provided to Beeline subscribers in the area.
