Head of the WIPO Innovation and Technical Transmission, Ali Jazairi, trainers from Innocentric, Inc (Turkey), WIPO experts and lecturer of the European Humanitarian University (Latvia) attend the event. Representatives of the Central Asian states and Uzbekistan participated at the seminar.
During the seminar, the participants considered practical issues related to innovation activities at the enterprises, their cooperation with scientific organization and state policy on development of technology transfer on successful global experience.
The Government of Uzbekistan pays great attention to speeding up innovation activity as main factor of sustainable development. The Government creates normative-legal base and mechanism for cooperation of science and production.
Organization of three day seminar on management of innovation is logic continuation of work of the UNDP and TTA on holding trainings for specialists on transfer and commercialization of innovation technologies.
At the seminar, the participants considered actual issues related to innovation activities, role of innovation in economy, state policy on support of commercialization of innovation, management of intellectual property and technologic management, development of human potential in management of innovations, etc.
Hamidulla Nurmatov, head of the UNDP project, said that strengthening of the potential of the agencies on transfer and commercialization of innovation and improving programmes on training national specialists in cooperation with WIPO will help to develop innovation activity in Uzbekistan.
