UN Special Representative holds talks at Uzbek MFA
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and Head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) Miroslav Jenča held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 29 February 2012.
The ministry said that the sides exchanged opinion on actual international and regional issues.
The sides discussed priority directions of cooperation within the UNRCCA and perspectives of cooperation in the format of UN and its structures.
The parties also considered issues included to the agenda of international seminar “Sustainable development – main factor for stability and peace in Central Asia”, which starts its work in Tashkent on 1 March.
