Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The UN Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan, Sabine Machl, held a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojaev.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the implementation of projects under the UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund for Human Security in the Aral Sea region.

Priority areas for further cooperation were also identified.

Currently, within the framework of four project proposal submission competitions, the Fund has successfully implemented 7 projects totaling US$13.5 million, and another 2 projects worth US$1.8 million are in the implementation stage.

The total number of beneficiaries from all projects has exceeded 297,000 people.
