Umid Ahmadjanov heads to England at invitation of FIFA

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Umid Ahmadjonov, President of the Uzbekistan Football Federation, and Bobur Chodiev, member of the Executive Committee, departed on an official visit to England at the invitation of FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

On 23 October, London will host The Best FIFA Football Awards, which award the best players of 2016-2017 season. The UFF delegation will participate in the ceremony.

It is expected that within the framework of the official visit Umid Ahmadjonov and Bobur Shodiev will meet with heads and members of delegations of world football associations. In particular, the meeting with the head of the England Football Association Greg Clarke is planned.

In total, nine trophies will be presented at The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony: The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2017, The Best FIFA Women’s Player 2017, The Best FIFA Men’s Coach 2017, The Best FIFA Women’s Coach 2017, The Best FIFA Goalkeeper Award 2017, The FIFA Puskás Award 2017, The FIFA Fair Play Award 2017, The FIFA Fan Award 2017 and FIFA FIFPro World11.
