Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Ulugbek Rashitov has become a two-time Olympic champion in taekwondo, securing a confident victory in the final match at the Paris Olympics.
Competing in the under-68 kg weight category, Rashitov defeated Jordanian athlete Zaid Karim with a score of 2:0, earning another gold medal.
It is worth noting that at the Tokyo Olympics, Ulugbek Rashitov won Uzbekistan’s first-ever medal in taekwondo.
With this achievement, the total number of medals won by the Uzbek delegation at the current Olympics has reached 4: 2 gold and 2 bronze.
