Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich has decided to curtail his visit to Uzbekistan in connection with decree of the Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko on new date of early elections, head of Prime Minister’s service Sergey Levochkin said.

Levochkin said Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich evaluated decree of Ukrainian president as “minimum amazing”. He said that the move of president is amazing if to take into account that working group on crisis settlement started work on 25 April.

The working group was formed jointly by President Viktor Yushchenko and Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich.

However, Mr Yanukovich will meet his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyayev and Uzbek President Islam Karimov. He will not participate in the work of business forum.

According to UzA, Prime Ministers of two states already held negotiations to discuss various issues related to development of Uzbek-Ukrainian relations.
