Air Vice Marshal Howard (Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff Logistic Operations) discussed areas of bilateral cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defence. The Air Vice Marshal also delivered a speech at Uzbekistan’s Defence Academy and visited Termez.
Two senior officers from the UK Ministry of Defence visited Uzbekistan to share experiences in training service medical personnel. The tour was organised by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Uzbekistan as part of ongoing bilateral UK/Uzbek military cooperation.
During the visit both sides had an opportunity to exchange information about their systems, and the process of conducting military medical training and operational use through presentation and discussion sessions.
The programme included observing practical exercises in mountainous areas, a visit to the Central Military Hospital in Tashkent and a visit to the State Museum of Armed Forces of Uzbekistan.”
