UK business circles pay visit to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of business circles of Great Britain paid a visit to Uzbekistan on 21-23 March 2012, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan said.
The visit was aimed at establishing direct contacts with the Uzbek partners and discuss opportunities of cooperation in such areas as energy, insurance and financial services.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the bilateral trade turnover hit US$177.8 million in 2011 compared to uUS$228.7 million in 2010.
