UHY Hacker Young delegation visits State Property Committee of Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Managing partner of audit company UHY Hacker Young Ladislav Hornan and director of consulting firm Financial Service for Eastern Europe (FSEE) Liudmila Sheremeteva were received at the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan.
UHY Hacker Young was founded in London in 1925. It is one of top 20 auditor firms of Great Britain. Total income in 2011 made up 45 million pounds. The company is founder of UHY International, which unites 250 audit firms in 79 companies. FSE is partner of UHY Hacker Young in Eastern Europe and the CIS.
The visit is aimed at meeting with five audit companies of Uzbekistan, which expressed interest in joining UHY International. In the result, the company will select one company, which will represent UHY International in Uzbekistan, the committee said.
During the meeting, UHY Hacker Young representatives expressed interest to issues related with legislative base and regulation of audit services market.
The Uzbek side provided information on legislation on audit sector, corporate management, external audit at privatized enterprises, licensing of audit firms, etc.
At the end of the meeting, UHY Hacker Young representatives expressed satisfaction with the results of the meeting.
