UFF chief: Uzbekistan should book place in Olympic Games
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan Olympic football team should clinch a berth at the Olympic Games in Rio, the president of Uzbekistan Football Federation Mirabror Usmanov said.
UFF head expressed hope that men and women Olympic teams of Uzbekistan can book their places in the Olympic Games.
He said that Uzbekistan U-23 coach Bakhtiyor Ashurmatov will be fired if the team fails to qualify to the Olympic Games.
Usmanov said that the director of the Center of national teams Askar Talibjanov, professor Rustam Akramov and Samvel Babayan will be fired as well if the team cannot book tickets to Brazil.
