EBITDA (Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) grew from 821 million Sweden kronor (US$119.87 million) in the first half of 2013 to 944 million Sweden kronor (US$137.826 million) in the first half of 2014. The growth rate made up 15.1%.

In the second quarter of 2014, the EBITDA made up 493million Sweden kronor (US$71.979 million), which rose by 12.7% year-on-year.

EBITDA margin made up 56% in the first half of 2014 against 55.3% in the same period of 2013, and in the second quarter of 2014 – 54.8% (55.9% in 2Q 2013).

According to the company, MOU (average monthly minutes of usage per subscriber) made up 310 minutes per month in April-June 2014, which did not change compared to the same quarter of 2013.

TeliaSonera said the subscribers’ base of Ucell made up 8.41 million in the first half of 2014 compared to 8.178 million people in the same period of 2013 (+2.8%).
