UCell subscriber receives first Chevrolet Captiva car
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- UCell, second largest mobile operator of Uzbekistan and subsidiary of the Swedish-Finnish telecom operator TeliaSonera, handed over the first automobile of Chevrolet Captiva model to the winner of the first stage of Carucell campaign on 26 October 2010.

The mobile operator announced about launch of Carucell campaign in the second half of August 2010. In line with campaign terms, each subscriber could participate in the campaign, putting 5,000 soums or higher to their account. They will collect points, which will determine the winner.

The winner of the first Chevrolet Captiva within the campaign was Feruz Khakimov from Bukhara. Khakimov received the car from UCell director-general Oguz Memiguven.

Feruz Khakimov said: “Today it is unforgettable day for me. I could not imagine that I will win a car. I am happy. Thanks to UCell for organization of such campaigns. Now, I know that any UCell subscriber can win such car.”

The operator also handed over 10 LCD TV-sets, 5 washing machines, 20 microwave ovens, 50 DVD-players and hundreds of other gifts. About 6,000 subscribers, who participated at the campaign and collected three or more points, received 30 minutes for internetwork communication and 30 SMS within Uzbekistan.

Oguz Memiguven expressed gratitude for all participants of Carucell campaign and said that UCell kept its promises handing over prizes today. He added that the company is used to keep its promises. Memiguven said that UCell is people’s company and it tries to share its achievements with people of Uzbekistan. He said that UCell will continue make happy people of Uzbekistan with various campaigns.

Mahbuba Sadykova, deputy director general on marking of UCell, stated that over 12,600 subscribers participated at the first stage of Carucell campaign, which is directed at increasing loyalty and satisfaction of subscribers.

Sadykova underlined that Carucell campaign is continuing and over 2,000 prizes are waiting their owners.

The company said that the subscribers can win four more Chevrolet Captiva cars, 40 LCD TV-sets, 20 washing machines, 80 microwave ovens and 200 DVD-players, as well as other gifts.

Carucell campaign is held in five stages and it will continue till 31 January 2011. At the end of each stage, subscriber, who collected the most points, will receive Chevrolet Captiva car.

FE Coscom LLC was founded in 1996. As of June 2008, the company began rendering services of mobile communication under the UCell brand. The company's subscriber base exceeded 5 million at the end of 2009. Number of subscribers made up about 6 million at the end of third quarter of 2010.
