Ucell says it did not introduce minimum payment size for subscribers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Coscom FE Ltd, offering mobile services under the brand name Ucell, stated that the company has not set a minimum deposit amount.

According to the company's subscribers, employees of Paynet offices require a minimum payment as a deposit of 3,000 soums.

Davron Azizov, head of corporate affairs, said that Ucell did not impose conditions on the minimum amount for replenishment.

“Ucell Subscribers can replenish their account for any amount, as before,” Davron Azizov said. “Our company, responding quickly to claims from subscribers about the unreasonable demands of individual staff at payment offices in the near future will try to resolve the situation with Paynet. And we have already made an official dispatch to our customers, notifying that Ucell has nothing to do with such requirements. Subscribers can contact by phone 180-00-00 or offices, which are listed on the official website”.

Ucell said: “Employees and sales representatives of Ucell conduct raids and identify violators of conditions of payment. In the event that they are operators of Paynet, we officially notify the management of payment system of these cases. If the violations were committed by Ucell dealer, the company applies severe sanctions up to a penalty, and shall take all measures to prevent such incidents in future.”

The company is also ready to cooperate with government authorities, in particular, with the State Antimonopoly Committee of the republic, in order to detect violations of the consumers’ rights.

Ucell encourages customers to protect their rights and report of any violations of the conditions of receiving payments with specific facts and addresses of such offices.
