-It is pleasant that the capital of our Uzbekistan - Tashkent entered the bright constellation of world chess cities. The next series of FIDE is tournament, which is the most significant event in the world of chess. The first series of the fide Grand Prix was held in London from September 21 to October 3. Now 12 best grandmasters will meet at chessboard in Tashkent. Further series will be held in Lisbon, Madrid, Berlin and Paris, and only the winner of the tournament will meet with the current world champion - the Indian grandmaster Viswanathan Anand.

Organizers of the tournament are FIDE, Fund Forum and Chess Federation of Uzbekistan under sponsorship of Ucell company.
