Two Islamic Jihad activists convicted in Uzbekistan
The Tashkent City Court has sentenced Shoakmal Nosirov and Farkhod Muminov to lengthy jail terms, the source said.
Nosirov has a previous conviction for illegal religious activities. In April 2002, he was sentenced to six years in prison, but was later amnestied.
