Twenty New AsiaStar Buses Launched on the Shakhrisabz–Kitab Route
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Regular service has begun on the “Shakhrisabz–Kitab” route with the introduction of 20 modern AsiaStar buses, supplied by the transportation company “Humoyun,” which operates passenger services in the Kashkadarya region.
The launch of the new bus fleet was marked by an official ceremony attended by regional governor Murodjon Azimov, representatives of the local administration, and members of the community.
The route, which connects the Shakhrisabz bus station with the Kitab hospital, spans 15.7 kilometers. According to estimates, the new buses will be able to transport up to 20,000 passengers daily.
By the end of the year, an additional 66 new buses are expected to be delivered to the region, significantly improving public transportation services for residents.
