Production of these products will be launched within the programme “On priorities of industrial development of Uzbekistan for 2011-2015”.

Tashkent-based Collective enterprise on repairing and technical maintenance of computer equipment will launch production of refrigerators under Samsung. The project cost is US43 million, of which US$2.1 million will be used in 2011. The capacity of the enterprise is 50,000 units a year.

Barion Eltekh Invest (Chust city of Namangan region) will launch production of color TV-sets under Samsung brand with the capacity of 10,000 units a year. The project cost is US$1.2 million and the volume of investments in 2011 will make up US$700,000.

According to the plans of the Uzbek government, the production of refrigerators in the country will increase four times to 110,000 units by 2015 and TV-sets – 5.1 times to 112,500 units a year.

Within the programme “On priorities of industrial development of Uzbekistan for 2011-2015”, Uzeltekhsanoat Association plans to implement projects with total cost of US$96.9 million.

One more project with the cost US$6.5 million was included to the list of new investment projects in industry, which is under development now.

Uzeltekhsanoat Association also works on perspective investment projects with total cost of US$129.3 million.
