Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting with representatives of the Turkish company Tashyapy was held at the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

During the meeting, prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation were discussed, with a view to attracting the company’s capabilities to the implementation of investment projects in our country.

Tashyapy has been operating since 1980. The main profile of the company is energy, construction, tourism, mining, healthcare and infrastructure development. The company’s annual turnover reaches US$1.9 billion. The company implements projects in such countries as Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, UAE, Iraq and Libya.

Tashyapy has shown interest in participating in the implementation of projects in the field of construction of roads, airports, the development of renewable energy sources, the construction of power lines, the extraction of precious metals and the implementation of geological exploration.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to strengthen bilateral cooperation and agreed to intensify interaction in order to discuss in more detail the prospects for the company’s participation in the implementation of investment projects and initiatives in Uzbekistan.
