Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The "Uzcharmsanoat" Association has initiated the first round of negotiations to establish cooperation with two major Turkish brands, "Jeune Pierre" and "Gelibolu Taban."

The meeting focused on the organization of joint investment projects and collaboration with Uzbek enterprises through outsourcing.

The "Jeune Pierre" brand specializes in the production of men's and sports footwear, primarily supplying its products to European and Arab countries. At the same time, the company plans to relocate its production to Uzbekistan. Specifically, a new project is set to launch, focusing on expanding the upper part of sports footwear. Negotiations with local enterprises will begin in April.

The "Gelibolu Taban" brand is also working on a new project to produce parts of complex footwear models in Uzbekistan. This footwear is mainly exported to Europe and Russia. Initial negotiations on potential collaboration with domestic companies have already begun.
