Trustbank’s deposits grow by 23% y-o-y

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Trustbank private open joint-stock exchange bank said population deposits at the bank grew by 23% year-on-year as of 1 September 2009. The bank did not disclose the volume of deposit.

The bank said it is offering various national and foreign currency deposits. The interest rate on deposits varies.

Assets of Trustbank made up 229 billion soums at the end of the first half of 2009 and the loan portfolio comprised 55.8 billion soums in the reporting period.

At the result of the first half of 2009, 77.9% of all loans were presented to industry sector, trade and catering.
