Trial to be held in Tashkent on the case of the death of 65 children from the syrup "Doc-1 Max"

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Tashkent city court is conducting a criminal case against citizen R.P. (citizen of India, born 1972, director of Kuramaks Medical LLC), and S.K. 1982, previously worked as director of the Pharmacy Network Development Agency and the State Center for Expertise and Standardization of Medicines, Medical Devices and Medical Equipment). This information was disseminated by the press service of the Supreme Court.

The total number of defendants is 21 people, including employees of LLC "Kuramax Medical" and the State Unitary Enterprise "State Center for Expertise and Standardization of Medicines, Medical Devices and Medical Equipment."

The first public hearing in this case is scheduled for tomorrow, 11 August, at 10:00.

As for the defendants, there are 16 men and 5 women among them. Seven of them were subjected to a preventive measure in the form of detention, 12 people received receipts of proper behavior, and two were released on bail. 

All of them are accused of committing crimes under articles 184, 28,186-3, 186-3, 25,205, 205, 207, 28,209, 209, 210, 211, 212, 228 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It is important to note that 65 children died in the country after using the drug "Doc-1 Max".
