Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uztemiryullyulovchi announced that tourists whose details were not provided in advance would not be allowed to board the train.

Travel agencies urged to observe the procedure when issuing tickets for groups of passengers. In particular, the data of tourists must be pre-confirmed when issuing tickets at the box office, the Uztemiryulyulovchi said in a statement.

“Passengers whose details have not been confirmed at the box office will not be allowed to board the train at the entrance,” the department warned.

It is noted that representatives of travel agencies violate paragraph 41 of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "Rules for the transportation of passengers, baggage and cargo on the railway transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan."

The document stipulates that when passengers board the carriage, the conductor is obliged to check the ticket, the presence of a mark on passing through the inspection, as well as a document proving the identity of the passenger.

If the surname in the presented document does not match, if the surname is missing or changed (corrected) in the ticket, as well as if there is no mark on passing the inspection, the passenger is not allowed to board the passenger train.

Representatives of travel companies were urged to comply with the procedure and rules specified in this resolution.
