Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Starting November 11, 2024, permits for bilateral and transit cargo transportation with Turkiye will be issued exclusively in electronic format through the E-Permit system.
According to the press service of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Transport, all permits of this type must now be processed solely through the automated E-Avto Ruxsatnoma platform. Domestic carriers can independently submit applications and obtain electronic permits via this system.
In the third quarter of 2024, the number of applications for cargo transport from Uzbekistan increased by 71% compared to the same period of last year.
While demand for export transportation grew significantly in the second quarter, the growth in the third quarter was less pronounced, at 6%.
The introduction of the E-Permit system aims to streamline the process of obtaining cargo transport permits and reduce waiting times.
