Article four of the Law “On natural monopolies” regulates state regulation of natural monopoly entities. According to the law, transport terminal service is natural monopoly.

State Privatization Committee in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance developed a draft law, which envisages exclusion of transport terminal service from the list of sectors, which are regulated by the government to create favourable business environment for businesses and decrease state regulation and permission procedures.

The adoption of the document will allow to improve legal protection and freedom of doing business, the committee said.
